In December we had a one day taster lesson in the Camden learning center(clc)to improve our skills in how to use photo shop. i personally didn't know much of how to use photo shop in detail. during the day we were taught how to use different brushes on the application manipulate features, edit fonts and how to use different affects.
i learned a lot on this day and it was useful information for me.
my class member including me, had to all produce a imitation practice film poster on that day just to see how much we learnt for ourselves. i found this very enjoyable.
we had a photo of a male character to add to our trial poster, we had to include this character in any way we want to the poster. i decided that this male was wearing a suit and looked like a serious man, so i thought i would base my poster on a gangster genre. i downloaded a background that looked like it had bullet holes in it. i merged the picture and background together. these effects that i used looked very good together. i was pleased with my final outcome and the experience was very handy for me.
this helped me decide on my actual film poster and i came to similar decisions.
